The Team
Eleanor Law qualified from Leeds University in 1992. After initial Vocational Training and then a year spent as a House Officer at Charles Clifford Dental Hospital in Sheffield, she then worked as a General Dental Practitioner in South and West Yorkshire.
In November 2006 Dr Law obtained the membership to the Faculty of General Dental Practitioners (MFGDP(UK).
From May 2012 she worked at Dearne Valley Dental Access Centre as a Senior Dental Officer dealing with dental emergencies and also as an honorary Clinical Lecturer (University of Sheffield) overseeing dental students as part of their Outreach Programme.
She obtained the prestigious Diploma in Restorative Dentistry in December 2012 from the Royal College of Surgeons (UK).
She has updated her knowledge with many local courses and study groups and is currently on the West Yorkshire committee for the British Dental Association.

Mark Law, Practice Manager, GRNCM, NCOS Dip, PGCE(SEC), Cert. HE (DPM)
Mark project managed the construction of the building to purpose-made dental practice. In 2010 he obtained a distinction in the Dental Practice Management Diploma. Mark deals with all the non-clinical aspects of the practice.
Jonathan Taylor BDS PgCert (Aesth Rest Dent) GDC 265403
Jonathan qualified from the University of Sheffield in 2016. He has also gone on to complete a year long certificate in restorative and cosmetic dentistry with the Aspire Dental Academy.
As well as cosmetic dentistry, Jonathan provides high quality general dentistry, and most importantly helping patients feel relaxed and at ease in his care. Jonathan prides himself on his friendly approach as well as comprehensive care.
Joe began his career in dentistry as a Dental Nurse, completing his apprenticeship in 2015. He continued his dental studies at The school of Clinical Dentistry in Sheffield, qualifying as a Dental Surgeon in 2023. He has completed his Foundation year in General Dental Practice in Chesterfield where he continues to work part-time. He joined the team at Upper Denby in 2024.

Amy Brierley is our Hygiene Therapist. She qualified in 2009 from Leeds Dental Institute and
has since worked in private and NHS practices in and around Huddersfield.
She has worked at Upper Denby since Sept 2021.

Helena qualified as a Dental Nurse in 2006 at Leeds Dental Hospital and has worked in practices in the Huddersfield area before joining the team at Upper Denby in 2017.
Helena Croft NVQ L3 GDC 124118
Evie has previously completed a course in Health and Social Care from Barnsley College, working in both care homes and schools.
She then qualified as a Dental Nurse with a level 3 NVQ from Sheffield College, completing her apprenticeship and then joining the team at Upper Denby in 2022.
Evie French NVQ L3 GDC 300574
Angel completed her apprenticeship in Barnsley and achieved her NVQ Level 3 DN in 2019.
She has worked in both NHS and private dental practices in and around Barnsley, often working in an Oral Surgery environment and assisting dental implant placements.
She continued her studies at Barnsley College, gaining a distinction in the Health and Science Access Course and hopes to continue with her Dental studies in the future.

Clare qualified as a Dental Nurse, gaining the National Certificate in Dental Nursing in 2010 .
Clare has work in practices in and around West Yorkshire, often in an Oral Surgery environment and assisting in dental implant placement.
